SolGen combines 4,600W of tracked bifacial solar, 41kWh of lithium battery storage and a Stage V generator running on HVO or diesel into one compact, towable unit. Unlike traditional diesel generators that burn fuel 24/7, SolGen solar power works on demand. Power is drawn from clean solar energy directly or via batteries. The generator kicks in only when needed, cutting generator runtime by more than 90% and slashing emissions, ensuring a continuous power supply.
On live sites this has delivered fuel savings of up to £1,000 per week, equaling around £40,000 a year net savings, alongside carbon reductions of up to 150 tonnes annually, depending on-site load and operating conditions. A huge saving for any business or sector.
Once up and running, the system will automatically switch power between solar, battery and generator. This means less user intervention and a simple set-up. Users can also track and report easily on power use, fuel/CO₂ savings and solar gains through SolGen’s free 24/7 remote monitoring portal, giving full accountability and transparency – and data that feeds straight into ESG and Net Zero reporting.
In order to harvest maximum solar energy, SolGen’s mobile solutions come equipped with the company’s patented ‘Sunflower’ tracking system. Combining solar tracking and bifacial panels, SolGen units can achieve up to 70% more solar gain than a static array.
On top of the company’s host of smart solutions, SolGen’s products offer one of the largest battery storage capacities available, an efficiently utilised Stage V generator and a high-capacity fuel tank, meaning reduced site visits.
Additionally, SolGen mobile units lower right to the ground, so the wheels are hidden and the towing connections are covered by a lockable flap. High-security access doors and a fuel theft alarm further minimise theft risk.
