Spanner Re² produces advanced complete biomass heating systems for several major heating system manufacturers (such as Buderus, Brunner, KWB, and Wolf). Its notable Biomass CHP System cleverly converts natural wood chips into biomass electricity and heat in order to save the customer money whilst providing increased power yields whilst taking into consideration aspects such as the selected location and legal conditions.
The newest innovation is a combined wood gasification unit, cogeneration unit and intelligent control centre for heat and electricity generation. Titled EnergyBlock, this particular product has received positive feedback from customers, with reference being made to its fast start-up, compact structure, customisable and coordinated qualities and of course, its capability to be fired with wood chips, pellets and briquettes.
Spanner Re² has experienced success on an international scale and its latest achievement relates to its wood cogeneration plants being commissioned for the first time outside Germany; as the sought-after plants can now be located in Italy, Austria and Slovakia. The environmentally-conscious enterprise is also heavily involved with project development and has used its knowledge of renewable resources to engage in schemes to benefit wildlife as well as future generations. For example, the suitably named LifeCO2 project strives to support reforestation in South Africa; helping to provide a natural habitat for animals and plants in Uganda whilst capturing CO2 emissions.
