Fun, stylish and safe, GlowBeanie creates unique glow in the dark beanies and other accessories to keep adults, children and workers safe from harm.
Created using a yarn containing a reflective thread which bounces back light to make the wearer more visible, the funky beanies, headbands, wrist warmers, neck gaiters and scarves (wraparound or skinny) come in a multitude of shades and patterns to suit individual requirements.
One of the GlowBeanie’s best uses is in the construction sector. They are particularly useful on construction sites as they can be worn underneath hard hats (if permitted), allowing workers to remain visible in low light and darkness, meaning they can continue working safely regardless of weather conditions. In addition to making construction sites safer, the hats can be used by joggers and dog walkers and anyone else who is out and about in the dark.
All sizes are catered for, from the very small to the very large. Some of the different beanies include the runner-friendly Shorty, a smaller hat that measures approximately 16cm (instead of the usual 19cm depth). The Slouchy offers a more laidback style, offering more light up material in the back.
Based at the gateway to Snowdonia National Park in North Wales, GlowBeanie was launched in April 2014 by Jane Beachell, a one woman entrepreneur. An already unique company, GlowBeanie offers unique services in the form of custom made hats. They can tailor beanies according to customer requirements, resulting in a product that is wholly personable.
