Redi-Rock stands out for its structural integrity and long-term durability. Each block is wet-cast in high-strength concrete under controlled conditions, achieving a design life of 120 years and performing reliably under heavy loads and harsh weather. The system is fully British Board of Agrément (BBA) approved under Certificate 12/R149, meeting rigorous UK roads and bridges specifications.

Installation efficiency is a major advantage. The modular interlocking system allows fast alignment and reduced labour requirements, meaning Redi-Rock walls can be installed significantly faster than traditional masonry – often up to ten times quicker. Gravity walls can reach heights of up to 7.6 m without geogrid in many cases, simplifying design and construction.

Redi-Rock also supports sustainable construction goals, with locally sourced materials, lower-carbon concrete options such as GGBS blends, and reduced waste thanks to its modular design.

Moore Concrete’s introduction of XL Blocks enhances the system further. With double-height faces (914 mm), these blocks reduce installation time, offer lighter handling thanks to their hollow core, and remain fully compatible with the entire Redi-Rock range. Available in three depths – 1.37m, 1.83m, and 2.44m – XL Blocks enable taller, more efficient gravity wall designs up to 7.6m without geogrid requirements.
