Even the long-standing event and wedding planners have had a challenging past couple of years due to the effect that COVID-19 has had on the industry, but Sal Majik Events has not only weathered the storm of lock down but actually came into establishment in the midst of it. “I had always planned to launch in November 2020, but it just so happened that COVID-19 hit at that exact time. Business started off quiet as you would expect but I have lots of experience in the wedding and event industry, so I just felt it was the right time for us,” stated Mickayla Laurie, Director and Planner at Sal Majik Events.
Sal Majik Events is fast becoming one of the most successful up and coming wedding and event planners in the UK. Based in the Berkshire and Hampshire regions, Sal Majik Events services also spread nationwide.
Sal Majik Events was established in 2020 on the breach of the COVID-19 pandemic by Mickayla who is not shy to the wedding and event management industry and holds a well experienced professional background in the field. She commented, “I have a degree in Creative Industries where I majored in Entertainment. Previous work has seen me working on cruise ships and in hotels, where I worked as a wedding and event coordinator.”
Going above and beyond clients’ expectations, Sal Majik Events offer a bespoke, personalised service that aims to attend to your every need. “We can do as little or as much as the client requires. They can acquire our service for the whole day meaning we take charge of the entire event from start to finish, or we also offer other services such as on the day event coordination, and also a six-week package for weddings and celebrations which includes working with the client from beginning to the end for weddings, birthday parties, special occasions, gala dinners, and Christmas parties.” Designed to eliminate as much pressure and stress away from the client during the event as possible, Mickayla has developed a unique and layered method that allows her clients to enjoy their day stress free. Mickayla continued, “our ultimate goal is to be there for the bride/client’s every need. I stay by my clients every step of the way, offering a truly personable relationship.”
Sal Majik Events presence has not gone unnoticed as within its first two years it has received Wedding Planner of the Year Award in Berkshire and LUXlife’s magazine Customer Service Excellence Award for 2022.
With many brides on the lookout to find their perfect wedding planner, Sal Majik Events is busier than ever now the event industry is once again back in full flow.
