The path to creating inclusive spaces for individuals with disabilities is a journey as significant as the destination itself.
Northumbria Calvert Trust, a charity known for providing outdoor adventure experiences to people with disabilities, successfully completed a project recently to construct new lodges using AVRAME kit sets.
After being let down by two UK manufacturers, Kevin, the CEO of Calvert Kielder, found Avrame, a company specialising in eco-friendly home kits, during an online search.
Avrame UK’s manufacturing offices are based in Estonia and the USA, with a global reputation for excellence.
From the initial inquiry to design, production, delivery and construction, the process was seamless. Kevin’s visit to Avrame’s manufacturing office in Estonia solidified his confidence in their decision.
Avrame’s transparency and honesty, with no hidden costs, made them a trustworthy partner.
The lodges, named The Sara J and The Reece, are more than just buildings; they symbolise inclusion, excellence, and adventure. They represent a shared dream where everyone, regardless of ability, can experience the beauty of Northumberland’s wilderness and the thrill of outdoor adventures.
This project is a testament to the power of collaboration and the impact it can have on creating inclusive spaces for all.
